Recordings now upload in parallel chunks while you are still recording. Most share links are ready the moment you press stop.

On slow connections the recorder keeps a local copy and retries in the background, so a dropped Wi-Fi link no longer loses a take.

Press Option+Shift+P from any app to pause, and again to resume. You can change the shortcut in Preferences → Recording.

While paused, the menu bar icon blinks so you don't forget you're mid-recording.

Magic links were still sent to the previous address for up to an hour after changing your account email. They now go to the new one right away.

Set a password on any share link from the share dialog. Viewers enter it once per browser.

Passwords can be changed or removed at any time; existing links keep working.
